Hormuz Recovery: Improved Access Does Not Mean an Immediate Reset

Recent movement through the Strait of Hormuz is a positive development, but shippers should still treat the recovery carefully.

When a major trade corridor begins to reopen, normal service does not return all at once. Carriers must review routing, schedules, capacity, insurance exposure, and lane-specific acceptance before service patterns fully stabilize.

Ports, inland providers, fuel suppliers, warehouses, and customers may also need time to adjust.

For clients, this means transit times, pricing, routing options, and carrier acceptance should still be confirmed before commitments are made.

Falcon Maritime & Aviation continues to monitor the recovery and support clients with practical guidance around routing, timing, cost exposure, and contingency planning.
